Would like to give some big kudos to all our GFY couples who did the Open together. Steve and Geraldine were caught via the great eye of GFY Media Guy. Some other couples that crushed it: Adam & Wendy, Virgil & Jojo, Shima & Sandra, Ashley & Cindy, Carson & Allison, Hugh & Mujda, Dom & Steph, Mike & Megan, Kai & Brenda, Thomas & Jay (lol), and me and Chyna count too. What a great year! Looking forward to October…. Yes, if you didn’t know, the 2019 CrossFit Open Part I for 2020 CrossFit Games starts in October. Let’s ride donkeys!

STRENGTH

Week #1 3 Rep Max Testing

  • Take 30 minutes to establish a 3 rep max Push Press
CONDITIONING

Complete 3 rounds of:

  • 1 minute max reps Ball Slams (pick weight)
  • 1 minute max reps Strict Pull-ups
  • 1 minute max reps Box Jumps (M:24″/W:20″)
  • 1 minute Rest

*Sub for strict pull-ups is a top of the pull up hold. Score 1 rep for every three seconds you can static hold yourself with your chin over the bar. Score is reps per round.
