What an amazing weekend at the Northern California Classic. GFY rolled in hard! Not only did the GFY Crew come to cheer on the athletes, they all also participated in the 5k Charity Run. That was AWESOME!!!

It was a crazy hot weekend, and all our participating athletes had to deal with the miserable heat.

Chyna finished first place in the Elite Female Division. She got to walk home with a gigantic $10,000 check. Nice work and way to win it in an epic performance in the last workout.

I finished 5th place out of 9. My training has slumped lately, but I’m looking forward to pushing a bit harder and participating more in some of these Masters aged competitions.

Team Crazy Semi-Fit Asians rocked the house. I cant tell you how inspiring it was for all of us GFY peeps to watch the team throw it all on the line and do things they had never done before. All of us are so proud of all of you. Try it again next year???

  • 2×5 Pause Back Squat (pick weight)
  • 2×3 Pause Back Squat (add 5#-30#)
  • 2×1 Pause Back Squat (5#-30#)

*2 second hold at bottom of squat

CONDITIONING

Complete the following for time:

  • 30 Wall Balls (M:20#-10’/W:14#-9′)
  • 15 Hand Release Push-ups
  • 30 Wall Balls
  • 15 Push-ups
  • 30 Wall Balls
  • 15 Burpees
